Furniture Veneer

Of the furniture veneer produced by us approximately 90% is rotary cut veneer and 10% sliced veneer.

The standard thickness of furniture veneer is 0.55 mm but we can also produce custom thicknesses. Veneer produced by us is mostly used in various furniture industries but also a lot for manufacturing doors and panels.

The minimum length of furniture veneer is 50 cm and maximum 320 cm, width ranges from 8 cm to 65 cm. The average width of a veneer sheet is 12-16 cm. Normally there are 24 sheets in a bundle.

Standard qualities of rotary cut birch veneer manufactured by us are the following:

A-grade: nice, clean and white material used for covering doors, tabletops and high quality panels. (IKEA class 1)

AB-grade: also nice, clean and uniformly light material with some light “hair” (false rays) and closed pin knots. Used for manufacturing cabinet doors, front sides and visible parts of various furniture, edge banding, etc. (IKEA class 2)

B-grade (AB Ikea-quality): more hair and pin knots and shade deviations are permitted. Used for manufacturing sides and less visible areas of various furniture, edge banding, etc. (IKEA class 3)

BC-grade: lot of hair and closed knots and slight colour deviations are permitted, open defects are not allowed. Used or manufacturing not visible sides of furniture, internal layers of edge banding, back sides, etc. (IKEA class 4)

Standard qualities of sliced birch veneer manufactured by us are the following:

A-grade: nice, clean and white material used for covering doors, tabletops and high quality panels. (IKEA class 5)

AB-grade: also nice, clean and uniformly light material with some light “hair” (false rays) and closed pin knots. Used for manufacturing cabinet doors, front sides and visible parts of various furniture, edge banding, etc. (IKEA class 5)

B-grade (AB Ikea-quality): more hair and pin knots and shade differences are permitted. Used for manufacturing sides and less visible areas of various furniture, edge banding, etc. (IKEA class 6)

BC-grade: lot of hair and closed knots and slight colour deviations are permitted, open defects are not allowed. Used or manufacturing not visible sides of furniture, internal layers of edge banding, back sides, etc. (IKEA class 6)

We always keep our standard production in stock and we can quickly fulfil the requests of every client. According to a special agreement with the client we can also provide different grades and we manage these within a reasonable time.
